A new chapter has been written: Our new production facility in Egercsehi (Hungary) has been completed. Covering an area of around 3,500 m², the modern new building combines production, warehouse and offices and creates optimum conditions for growth, efficiency and innovation. A strong sign for our future.
Company founder Walter Sallaberger hands over the management of the company to his sons Stefan and Michael Sallaberger at the start of 2026. This means that the family business, which was founded in 2006, will be passed on to the next generation. The location, the established teams and the customer focus will remain unchanged.
An innovative production and office building of around 2,533 square meters is being built on a plot of 2.4 hectares in Egercsehi (HU), which embodies our vision for the future.
By moving into our new office building and new warehouse (1,000 m² each), we are expanding our capacities and setting the course for the future. We have been working in our new premises since fall 2024 - for even more efficient processes and the best service.
Reliable, punctual, efficient - from 2020 to 2023, we have consistently delivered top delivery performance for the agricultural manufacturer KVERNELAND. Optimized processes and a strong team guarantee the highest quality and adherence to delivery dates.
The expansion includes the construction of a warehouse with an area of 1,000 m² and a new office building with an area of 1,000 m². Thanks to these measures, we will be optimally positioned from fall 2024 to meet the needs of our customers even better and be prepared for future growth.
Prestigious award for SANUBE from the KRONE Group, one of the world's leading manufacturers of agricultural machinery and truck trailers.
On April 26, 2023, a very interesting supplier day took place at the main German plant in Spelle. Around 400 different suppliers from all over the world were present at the big event.
Sanube was honored with the "Best Supplier Award"! Adherence to delivery dates, flexibility and the very high quality of the parts supplied were the decisive factors in receiving this prestigious award.
Due to the very good order situation of currently 331 km of LED strips per year, the production facility at our main site in Diersbach has been expanded to a total of 315 m².
To ensure flexibility and maintenance of quality, production of all our LED-Stripes are transferred from China to Austria.
Our extensive growth and expansion mean that it is now time to relaunch our whole market presence. Everything – from logo through corporate fonts to website – undergoes a transformation.
We acquire a shareholding in our Hungarian partner and the subsidiary Sanube Kft. (100% owned by us) is founded.
Thanks to a significantly improved management system, we are able to further increase production capacity and improve quality.
Under the motto "Celebrating with friends and companions" we held a celebration party at our headquarters in Diersbach on June 17, 2016. Present were "friends" of the company SANUBE. By this Walter Sallaberger means business partners, relatives, personal friends and neighbors of the company who have been involved in the success and positive development of SANUBE over the last 10 years.
A new, modern computer-controlled high-bay warehouse for small parts put into operation.
Expansion of the company in Hartwagen. Due to increased customer orders, a further hall construction became necessary. Furthermore, a production with 5 production islands was integrated into the existing hall.
This new manufacturing facility has enabled us to respond even more quickly and easily for our customers.
Smaller batch sizes and heavy metal parts such as finished luminaire supports were from now on manufactured in Hartwagen and no longer in Hungary.
High award for the company SANUBE from one of the largest tractor and agricultural machinery manufacturers in the world.
At the end of 2015, the "AGCO Supplier Days" took place in Marktoberdorf. Out of approximately 350 participating companies, only 16 received awards. Sanube has received the "AGCO SUPPLIER AWARD 2015" in the group of outstanding cooperation.
With constant new customers and requirements the production space in Hungary grew too small very quickly and a new hall was built here as well. Approx. 180 employees now produce all our lighting system parts on approx. 3300m².
More staff and simpler workflows due to more space guarantee cheaper and high-quality products, which our customers appreciate very much.
Many new parts, more personnel and new customers from all over Europe made a larger new building of a warehouse including offices necessary. Approx. 700m² warehouse and 300m² office space now give enough space for all requirements of our customers. Daily deliveries from our production facility in Hungary and weekly luminaire deliveries from Portugal make our facility a central point in Europe from where we can serve all our customers reliably and quickly.
Conclusion of a partnership with a very large lighting manufacturer from Portugal.
Major customers from all over Europe made it necessary to expand production. In rented halls, about 250km southeast of Budapest, our lighting systems were produced from now on.

Sanube founded by Walter Sallaberger, company focuses on distribution of vehicle components. In the early years we were mainly engaged in the trade of vehicle components for the trailer. The first customers from the vehicle construction sector in Austria were supplied with various components in a rented hall.
